The arrangement phase is the timed window before a round locks where you split your 13 cards into three hands — bottom (5 cards), middle (5 cards), and top (3 cards).

A royalty is a special high-value hand combination — like a straight flush in the bottom row — that earns extra units from opponents beyond the standard win/loss count.

Scooping means your three arranged hands all beat the same opponent's three hands in a single round, usually earning a bonus unit penalty against that player.

A foul hand, sometimes called mis-set, happens when your card arrangement violates ranking rules — for example, placing a stronger hand on top than at the bottom. The hand is forfeited.

A unit is the base scoring increment used to track wins and losses between players per hand comparison. Your total units across all three hand match-ups determines your net result for the round.

Naturals are automatic winning combinations dealt before arrangement — such as all 13 cards forming a special pattern. A natural typically wins against all opponents without needing a hand comparison.
